Direction: From N. Virginia and DC, and N. Maryland and Baltimore: Take 495 . to 270 N. On 270 take the exit for Democracy Blvd. (west). Go to 4th light and make Right onto Westlake Drive as if going to the Montgomery Mall. Pass Montgomery Mall on right and continue on Westlake Drive. You will see a sign for "Cabin John Regional Park Ice Skating Rink" on your left. Continue on West lake Dr. past this sign and make the next left. Note, there are no signs for Cabin John Park at this entrance. Parking lot will be on your left. Picnic shelter "H" is a short walk away towards park area on your right. If you miss the park entrance on West lake Drive you will reach Tukerman Lane. Make a left here and park entrance will be a short distance away on your left. If you enter here you will have to walk towards mini-rail station to get to the picnic shelter. From points North and West: Take 270 South and exit on Democracy blvd (west) and follow same directions as above. Cabin John Regional Park is one of the most children friendly parks in this region with a mini
train (rides are 1.50), and a humongous play area. Hope to see all of you and the kids there. |
