Krishna Pahadi, a human rights defender and the founder of Amnesty International Nepal has been released. Amnesty International Irish Section has been campaigning for Krishna's release since last February when he was arrested at his office in Kathmandu days after King Gyandendra assumed direct rule and suspended democracy. A big thank you to all of you who sent appeals on Krishna's behalf.
